I feel super lucky to have had the chance to be a part of the Outer Worlds dev team when I was working at Obsidian. It was my first time working on a video game and I could not have asked for a cooler project or a better group of people to learn from!
This is one of the armor sets I worked on for the Marauders that you fight out in the wild.
The final polygon count is; 39,896 Tris. was sculpted in Zbrush, with some Marvelous Designer for the under suit and scarf. Retopo'd in Maya, and textured in Substance painter!
